Experience and expertise
was appointed as Chairman in 2018, after serving five years as an Independent
Director of nib foundation.
She brings more than 30 years' experience in
community and family services and education management roles to nib foundation.
As Director of the University of Newcastle's Family
Action Centre from 2000-2012, Judi successfully influenced policy and practice
in the area of family and community, convening over 30 national conferences and
seminars and presenting at numerous international conferences.
Since 1986 Judi has held various roles with the
University of Newcastle including Director of the Family Action Centre and
Assistant Dean of Community Engagement, Faculty of Health, and Conjoint Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Health and Medicine.
Judi's commitment to the family and community
sector also includes a variety of roles over 30 years as Chair, Director and
Committee Member for Kidsafe Hunter, Family and Relationships Services
Australia, Newcastle East/Lake Macquarie Home-start and Hunter Region's
Children's Television Advisory Panel.
Member of Partner Selection Committee and Investment Committee.
