What Happens If My Application is Successful?
If you are successful in receiving funding from nib foundation, you
will receive a letter confirming the conditions of the grant, payment
schedule, and reporting arrangements.
Grants will be paid through Electronic Funds Transfer in accordance
with the payment schedule negotiated in your Grant Agreement. In special
cases, grants may be paid by cheque.
There are several requirements that you will need to be aware of as a
recipient of a grant from nib foundation. Please take a few minutes to
review nib foundation's Grantee Obligations. (PDF 51kb).
All partners will be required to submit progress reports and participate in feedback conferences (in person or by phone) at regular intervals
throughout the project. The due dates for reporting will be outlined in
the Grant Agreement.
Grant recipients must inform the foundation of any changes to, or
delays in the completion of the project throughout its duration.
Final Reports and Acquittal Reports
The Grantee Obligations require all successful grantees to
satisfactorily acquit the grant by completing a financial acquittal and a
final report upon completion of their project. This information is
to ensure the financial accountability of both the foundation and the grant recipient;
for internal assessment and review;
to identify any important learnings or models from the project;
to disseminate experiences and outcomes to others where appropriate; and
to guide future grant-making decisions.

You will be required to acknowledge the grant from nib foundation
through the use of our logo in publications and other promotional
materials. An electronic copy of our logo and brand guidelines will be
provided for use. All branded material must be approved by nib
foundation prior to publication or printing.
