Changing the lives of indigenous children

Back

The small but dedicated team at the Earbus Foundation are changing the lives of indigenous children in Western Australia's Goldfields and Pilbara regions.

With poor ear health resulting in significant health and education issues for children in these remote areas, our 2016 Community Grant  helped establish the Ear Health Ambassadors program. The grant employed an enrolled nurse who worked alongside the Earbus Clinical Team to educate, train and support Aboriginal youth, equipping them to play a meaningful role in their own communities.

This interview with Earbus Foundation co-founder and CEO, Paul Higginbotham, provides an insight to the amazing work his team is doing to improve ear health and also how much more still needs to be done.
