In 2015, the small town of Dungog in NSW was ravaged by devastating floods. The community came together in an incredible show of strength in the wake of the natural disaster, and has taken giant strides down the long road to recovery.
Project Bounce Forward, an initiative of the Dungog Shire Community Centre, was funded by two $50,000 nib foundation grants in 2015 and 2016. The project was established to support both the physical and emotional needs of the community following the flood crisis through the delivery of capacity-building activities and services.
