We're excited to announce the support of ten new Community Grant partners dedicated to helping people and communities live healthier lives.
These partners will receive a share in over $280,000 of funding to deliver grassroots programs that focus on tackling key health and wellbeing issues facing vulnerable youth and carers across Australia.
The selected partners will use the funding towards delivering targeted and age appropriate health prevention and intervention programs for vulnerable and at-risk individuals to improve their physical, mental and social health and wellbeing.
Youth and carers who participate in the programs will be provided with useful resources, information and tools to better understand their situation and form social connections through inclusive physical and social activity.
Meet our new 2018/19 Community partners:
We are thrilled to celebrate a big decade of giving this year, having committed over $17 million in funding to support health and wellbeing programs for more than 120 partners since our establishment in 2008.
Thank you to all the incredible charities who took the time to submit their application for our 2018 Community Grant round. It's fantastic to see the diverse range of initiatives being undertaken in communities across Australia to help people and communities live healthier lives.
