nib foundation is delighted to announce the appointment of nib's Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer, Michelle McPherson, to our Board of Trustees.
Michelle joined nib in 2003 and has been a key supporter of nib foundation since our establishment. She has served as the foundation's Company Secretary for more than eight years and in that time has gained an intimate understanding of our organisation.
In addition, she brings to this position considerable experience as a not for profit company director and more than 30 years of experience in financial positions and chartered accounting, including senior roles at Caltex.
Mrs McPherson said she is looking forward to the new role and continuing to help the foundation to improve community health and wellbeing outcomes by funding innovative programs that meet the needs of young people and carers in a practical and engaging way.
"I have a strong affiliation with nib foundation having been involved since its humble beginnings and am a strong advocate for helping those most vulnerable in our community to improve their health outcomes," Mrs McPherson said.
"It's an exciting time for the foundation in the lead up to the 2016 Community Grant recipients being announced. I'm looking forward to seeing the successful candidates deliver the range of exciting and worthwhile projects that will support the health and wellbeing needs of communities across the country," Ms McPherson added.
We look forward to having Michelle on board in her new capacity as a Director.
